This kit will allow you to run an LSA or other blower on an LS3 truck offset drive, with the factory style 5th Gen Camaro water pump, with the upper outlet on the driver side of the engine. This kit uses 2 of our standard idlers mounted to a billet bracket on the water pump, as well as a separate bracket setup for our HD Tensioner assembly. This does NOT work with the stock tensioner, as the geometry is not correct.
This kit will work with both power steering options, the only difference is belt length, the routing stays the same as long as there is a "dummy" pulley where the power steering normally is on the electric rack models.
For setups with 6 ribs, the kit works as is, for 8 rib combos, you MUST use an Innovator West or ATI balancer that adds 2 ribs forward, as well as shim out the blower pulley by one rib (we can send a shim if needed).
The tensioner for this kit IS SOLD SEPARATELY FROM ROCKAUTO, AMAZON, ETC. We do NOT supply it with the kit. The Gates PN is 38518. The kit will include all necessary mounting hardware, minus the belt. We also offer an upgraded tensioner idler pulley, with "shoulders" to make sure the belt wont ever walk off if the system is slacked (rev-limiter, missed shifts, etc) for an additional cost. All tensioner idlers will come BLACK unless specified otherwise.
