Our LSA Truck/SUV front drive kit works with all available balancers, 6 rib stock truck, 8 rib LSA, and 8 rib Innovators West or ATI lowers. There are 4 spacers that need to be changed out to go from one to the other. The applications for "long" and "short" options are listed below. The additional spacers for the tensioner brackets are available and listed below as well. If you are using any of the +2 rib offset lowers, you MUST use either the Griptec "truck" offset LSA upper, NOT THE FACTORY LSA STYLE UPPER, or use a pulley spacer, listed HERE. The spacer kit contains one long spacer down by the balancer, 2 for the water pump, and one behind the alternator. The "short" version also comes with 2 shorter water pump bolts.
Please note, some idlers on the older brackets may hit the heads of the bolts that go through the water pump, so shimming of the idlers may be needed, as well as pocketing of the bracket. All truck kits sold at the end of 2024 and forward are already pocketed for the extra clearance.
"Short" Spacers work with LSA lower balancers, or any 8 rib balancer that is 1 rib forward and 1 rib backwards from stock 6 rib truck offset.
"Long" spacers with with stock 6 rib balancers, ATI 8 rib and IW 8 rib with 2 ribs added forward. You also must install a .140" spacer behind the tensioner, if they weren't specified or bought with the tensioner kit.
